And So We Walked
And So We Walked follows a Cherokee woman and her father who embark on the Trail of Tears — a six-week, 900-mile undertaking — to better understand their identity. The performance draws on research, interviews, and playwright DeLanna Studi's own experiences to provide one perspective on the Cherokee experience. The show is a three-night event presented by Audible Theater, Octopus Theatricals, and the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts.
