Women or Nothing extends run by one week

The Atlantic Theater Company's world premiere production of Academy Award winner Ethan Coen's first full length play Women or Nothing, currently in previews, has extended its run by one week and will now play through to 13 Oct 2013.

Women or Nothing began previews at the Linda Gross Theater on 28 Aug 2013, where it will open on 16 Sep 2013. The production was originally scheduled to close on 06 Oct 2013.

Women or Nothing is a comedy about two women so desperate to have a child that one of them will even sleep with a man. Who the man is, what he thinks is going on, what the women think about what he thinks, and what the mother of one of the women reveals about her own colorful past-it all defies belief. Why then does it all make sense?

Directed by David Cromer ('The House of Blue Leaves,' 'Brighton Beach Memoirs'), Women or Nothing stars Robert Beitzel, Halley Feiffer ('The House of Blue Leaves'), Obie Award winner Susan Pourfar ('Tribes') and Tony Award nominee Deborah Rush ('Noises Off,' "Big Lake").

The creative team features scenic design by Michele Spadaro, costume design by Sarah Laux, lighting design by Bradley King and sound design by Daniel Kluger.
