Tony Awards 2008 will be hosted by Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi Goldberg will host the 2008 Tony Awards ceremony at Radio City Music Hall on the 15 Jun 2008, which will be broadcast live on CBS-TV.

As previously announced the Tony Award Nominations will be announced on the 13 May 2008 by Tony Award winners David Hyde Pierce and Sara Ramirez at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
