Irish Repertory Theater presents Tom Crean: Antarctic Explorer, written and performed by Aidan Dooley, opening at the Irish Repertory Theater on 22 Jul 2007, following previews from 17 Jul and running through to 9 Sep 2007.

Tom Crean: Antarctic Explorer: Hear the true stories of Crean's Antarctic explorations as one of the few men to serve with both Scott and Shackleton and survive three legendary expeditions: Discovery (1901-1904), Terra Nova (1910-1913), and Endurance (1914-1916). Crean's solitary trek to base camp during the Terra Nova Expedition to rescue his comrades has been described as 'The finest feat of individual heroism in the entire age of exploration.'
