Xolo Maridueña to make Broadway debut in 'Buena Vista Social Club'

The Cobra Kai and Blue Beetle screen star will perform in the Tony Award-winning musical for seven weeks only starting in November.

¡Bienvenidos a Broadway! Xolo Maridueña will make his Broadway debut in Buena Vista Social Club for seven weeks only this fall, playing Juan De Marcos from November 17 to January 3.

Maridueña is best known for his screen roles as Miguel Diaz on Cobra Kai (Teen Choice, Young Artists Award nominations), the title role of the DC superhero film Blue Beetle, Victor in Parenthood, and Gideon in Practical Magic 2. He has been named to Forbes' 30 under 30 list, to Variety's 2021 Young Hollywood Impact List, and as "one to watch" by People Magazine.

The Buena Vista Social Club musical, inspired by the same-named band and its Grammy-winning landmark album, dramatizes the stories of the artists who reunited in the '90s to revive a bygone era of Cuban music, decades after the Cuban Revolution upended their lives and careers.
