The Show Must Go On! to stream Andrew Lloyd Webber: The Royal Albert Hall Celebration
The star-studded production marking Webber's 50th Birthday can be streamed from this Friday, May 1 at 2pm (ET) for free.
Andrew Lloyd Webber certainly knows how to celebrate in style! Back in 1998, a host of stars, who have collaborated with the famous composer over the course of his illustrious career, gathered at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the lord's 50th Birthday.
Andrew Lloyd Webber: The Royal Albert Hall Celebration will be made available on The Show Must Go On! YouTube Channel from 2pm (ET) this Friday, May 1 for a limited 48-hour period. And it's completely free to stream!
The concert production, recorded live on April 7, 1998, follows the previous weeks' streamings of Lloyd Webber classics Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, The 25th Anniversary production of The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall, and Love Never Dies.
Musical fans can expect special renditions of Lloyd Webber's greatest show tunes from global hits such as Cats, Evita, Sunset Boulevard, and Starlight Express to rare gems the likes of Aspects of Love and Whistle Down the Wind. The cast includes such Broadway and West End favorites as three-time Tony Award winner Glenn Close, Tony Award nominee Antonio Banderas, Olivier Award winner Elaine Paige, two-time Olivier Award winner Michael Ball, and Lloyd Webber's original muse, Sarah Brightman, among others.
