The Persians: a comedy about war with five songs, written by Waterwell Theatre Company, extends its run at the Perry Street Theatre through to the 20 Aug 2005.
The Persians originally ran at Under St Mark's from the 26 May to the 16 Jun 2005 and received favourable reviews. The Persians were the most powerful empire the world had ever seen. The Persians� army was the biggest war machine ever assembled. The Persians marched off to destroy their most hated enemies. The Persians lost the war and the world. The revolution is about to begin.
The cast features Hanna Cheek, Rodney Gardiner, Arian Moayed and Tom Ridgely.
The Persians is directed by Tom Ridgely. with original music and arrangements by Lauren Cregor, graphics by Brian McMullen, costumes by Elizabeth Payne, lighting by Sabrina Braswell and stage management by Kendall O'Neill.
The show was developed and adapted by Waterwell based on the play by Aeschylus; Special sections have been written by Waterwell member Nicole Parker.
