'The Paris Letter' Jason Butler Harner joins cast



Jason Butler Harner has joined the cast of the Roundabout Theatre Company�s New York premiere of Jon Robin Baitz�s The Paris Letter, directed by Doug Hughes. Harner replaces previously announced Lee Pace, who left the production due to a recently confirmed film project.

Jason Butler Harner last appeared on the Roundabout stage in 'Juno and the Paycock'. He recently appeared in New York Theatre�s acclaimed production of 'Hedda Gabler' and the Lincoln Center�s 'Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme'.

The Paris Letter, which recently moved it's opening date from the 9 to the 12 Jun 2005, begins previews from the 13 May 2005 at the Laura Pels theatre

The design team for The Paris Letter includes John Lee Beatty (sets), Catherine Zuber (costumes) Peter Kaczorowski (lights) with sound and compositions by David Van Tieghem.

Synopsis: In The Paris Letter Wall Street powerhouse Sandy Sonenberg finds his personal and professional life threatened by the unraveling secrets of his past. A tragic game of financial and moral betrayal is played out over four decades and between two friends at the cost of family, friendship, love and marriage.

The world premiere of The Paris Letter opened on the 12 Dec 2004 at the Mark Taper Forum�s new Kirk Douglas Theater in Los Angeles.
