The Jesus Factor will now play an open run at the Barrow Street Theater

Fresh Ice Productions and Jack W. Batman have announced an open-ended run of Brian Dykstra's The Jesus Factor, an impassioned indictment of the religious right, with direction by long-time collaborator Margarett Perry.

The open run of The Jesus Factor begins performances at the Barrow Street Theatre on 2 Feb 2008, where it is currently booking through to 8 Mar 2008. The show had an earlier run at the Barrow Street from 10 - 20 Jan 2008.

Brian Dykstras rage ignites in The Jesus Factor, his latest uncensored and funny one-man tour-de-force about religious hypocrisy and power.

His last New York solo outing, 'Cornered & Alone,' received critical acclaim and an extended Off-Broadway run. The New York Times said, exhilarating, intoxicating and enormously satisfying! While the Village Voice exclaimed, "Brian Dykstra is working hard to turn ranting into a new genre, and if he succeeds comedy may not be safe. He can make you think as hard as you laugh.
