The House of Yes at the Payan Theatre

Samsara Theatre Company has announced that its 2007 season will be 'The Season of Sin'. Every offering from the Company will feature one or more of the Seven Deadly Sins: Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Sloth, Pride, Lust, and Wrath.

Kicking off with Wendy MacLeod's darkly comic The House of Yes, audience members will be invited to decide which of the seven are exhibited in each of the ensemble's productions.

The House of Yes, will play at the Roy Arias' Payan Theatre from 3 - 21 Oct 2007.

The House of Yes: Familial ties and deceptions are put to task during the Pascal clan's Thanksgiving holiday. Marty has brought home his new fiance, Lesly, to meet the family, much to his twin sister's dismay. 'Jackie O' - as the family calls her- considers Lesly to be a threat to the strong bond she's always had with Marty, and it's up to their mother and younger brother Anthony to referee (or exacerbate) the sure-to-be-tumultuous proceedings.

Directed by Jason Kane, The House of Yes features Anne Ackerman, Matt LaSpata, Jonathan Patton, Maire-Rose Pike and Alicia St. Louis.

The design team comprises Lindsey Vandevier (sets) and Michael Plosky (costumes).
