The Great God Pan extends for a second week



Playwrights Horizons's has announced a second, and final, one-week extension of their world premiere production of Amy Herzog's The Great God Pan, directed by Carolyn Cantor. The show will now play through to 13 Jan 2013.

The show opened at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater on 18 Dec 2012, following previews from 24 Nov 2012, and was originally scheduled to close on 30 Dec 2012.

Jamie's life in Brooklyn seems just fine: a beautiful girlfriend, a budding journalism career, and parents who live just far enough away. But when a possible childhood trauma comes to light, lives are thrown into a tailspin.

The cast for The Great God Pan features Becky Ann Baker, Tony Award nominee and Obie Award winner Peter Friedman, Olivier Award nominee Sarah Goldberg, Keith Nobbs, two-time Lortel Award nominee Jeremy Strong, Joyce Van Patten and Erin Wilhelmi.

The creative team features sets by Mark Wendland, costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Japhy Weideman and sound by Darron L West.
