The Eaten Heart at the Ontological Theater


The Debate Society presents The Eaten Heart, written and performed by Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen, opening at the Ontological Theater at St. Mark's Church on 26 ~May 2007, following previews from 24 May and running through to 9 Jun 2007.

Directed by Oliver Butler, The Eaten Heart is set on a hot summer evening, the plays characters escape the monotony of their own lives by visting the strange world of a remote motel. Entering into a lucid dream of comical, erotic and occasionally gory twists, they engage in steamy roadside intrigue before disppearing back onto the lonely highways.

Set design by Amanda Rehbein, with costumes by Sydney Maresca, lighting by Mike Riggs and sound by Nathan Leigh.
