The Devil's Disciple extends its run by two weeks
The Irish Repertory Theater production of George Bernard Shaw's comedy The Devil's Disciple, extends its run by two weeks and will now play through to 10 Feb 2008.
The comedy opened at the Irish Repertory Theater on 13 Dec 2007, following previews from 5 Dec and was originally scheduled to close on 27 Jan 2008.
Set in the middle of the American War of Independence. The Devil's Disciple tells the story of the rascal, Dick Dudgeon, a young revolutionary brought up in a harshly puritan home, who finds himself starved for a true religion. His passionate belief in the right to human happiness lands him smack in the middle of a masquerade which could result in dangerous, indeed, life-threatening consequences.
Directed by Tony Walton, The Devil's Disciple features Jenny Fellner, Curzon Dobell, Sean Gormley, Cristin Milioti, Craig Pattison, Lorenzo Pisoni, Darcy Pulliam, Robert Sedgwick, John Windsor-Cunningham, and Richard B. Watson.
The creative team comprises Tony Walton (sets), Rebecca Lustig (costumes) Brian Nason (lighting) and Zach Williamson (sound).
