The Chocolate Show! cast announced

The full cast has been announced for the world premiere of the audience participation musical comedy The Chocolate Show! will open at the 47th Street Theatre on 14 Feb 2014, following previews from 01 Feb 2014.

The cast will feature Emily McNamara, Laura D'Andre, Scott Richard Foster, Talene Monahon and Andrew Pandaleon.

Featuring book and by Alan Golub and Laura Goldfader, with lyrics by Alan Golub, The Chocolate Show! is directed by Dan Foster and choreographed by Grady McLeod Bowman.

On the final night of her reign as World Queen of the Cocoa Bean, the glamorous, often eccentric and hilariously unpredictable Cookie Conwell (Emily McNamara) fulfills her lifelong dream of hosting The Chocolate Show!, where she must choose her successor. Who will be the next to wear the solid chocolate crown? How will Cookie handle the transfer of power? And, oh yeah, is chocolate really bad for dogs?

These pressing questions and more are answered in this 90-minute, musical comedy celebrating the world's favorite obsession. Join Cookie and the fabulous Chocolate Layer Players for this theatrical event filled with songs, comedy sketches, audience participation (volunteer-only) and, of course, lots of chocolate.
