The Butcher of Baraboo at the McGinn Cazale Theatre


Second Stage Theatre presents The Butcher of Baraboo, a dark comedy by by Marisa Wegrzyn, at the McGinn Cazale Theatre from 24 May- 30 Jun 2007.

Valerie is the The Butcher of Baraboo, Wisconsin. Her husband has gone missing and everyone suspects she played a hand, especially her nosy sister-in-law who just happens to be the town sheriff. And her daughter, a drug-pushing pharmacist, might know more than she lets on. The Butcher of Baraboo is a black comedy about a butcher, a secret, and one perfectly polished meat cleaver.

Directed by Carolyn Cantor, The Butcher of Baraboo features Ashlie Atkinson, Michael Countryman, Ali Marsh, Debra Jo Rupp and Welker White.

Set design by Beowulf Borritt, with costumes by Andrea Laurer, lighting by Jeff Croiter and sound by Ryan Rummery.
