The Aspern Papers at the Turtle�s Shell Theater

Turtle Shell Productions presents The Aspern Papers, by Martin Zuckerman and directed by Shawn Rozsa, opening at The Turtle�s Shell Theater on 2 May 2008, following previews from 30 Apr and running through to 24 May 2008.

The Aspern Papers: The depths of deceit that an American scholar will go to secure the private letters of a famous poet. Set in Venice in the 1880s, the scholar enlists the help of a dowdy, middle-aged spinster in obtaining the love letters written to her shriveled-up aunt long ago. The scholar wants the papers; the niece wants him; the aunt wants his money.
