The 2014 Tony Award Winners Announced


The 2014 Tony Awards were presented on Sunday 8 June at a star-studded ceremony at New York's Radio City Music Hall, presented by Hugh Jackman.

The 68th annual awards were televised live on CBS, and featured performances from all of the Tony nominated Best musicals and revivals. Other performances included upcoming musicals 'The Last Ship' and 'Finding Neverland'.

Audra McDonald made Tony Award history as she won the award for Best Actress in a Play, making her sixth award. Not only has she become the first person to win in all four performance categories, but she has also broken the record for the most Tony Awards won by a performer.
