Ten Chimneys closed early on 14 Oct 2012

Peccadillo Theater Company's New York premiere of Ten Chimneys, a new comedy by Jeffrey Hatcher, played its final performance on 14 Oct 2012, two weeks earlier than scheduled.

Ten Chimneys opened at the Theatre at St. Clement's on 3 Oct 2012, following previews from 21 Sep 2012, and was scheduled to play through to 27 Oct 2012.

Directed by Obie Award-winner Dan Wackerman (Counsellor-At-Law), Ten Chimneys, starred Byron Jennings as 'Alfred Lunt,' Carolyn McCormick as 'Lynn Fontanne,' Mariette Hartley as Lunt's mother 'Hattie' and Michael McCarty as 'Sydney Greenstreet.' The cast will also feature Charlotte Booker, Julia Bray and John Wernke.

Ten Chimneys peers into the backstage lives of the two most revered stars of the Broadway stage, Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. Set on the couple's legendary Wisconsin estate in 1938, love triangles and family dysfunction reveal themselves when the rehearsal process for an upcoming production of Chekhov's The Seagull becomes a true-to-life plot involving a young actress named Uta Hagen.

The creative team featured scenic and lighting design by Harry Feiner, with costume design by Sam Fleming.
