Taylor Louderman debuts as Lauren in Kinky Boots tonight
Broadway alum and "Peter Pan Live!" star Taylor Louderman returns to the Great White Way tonight to assume the role of Lauren in the Broadway production of Kinky Boots at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Haven Burton played her final performance in the role on January 15.
Taylor Louderman was last seen on the New York stage in the MCC Theater production of 'Ride the Cyclone,' but departed before opening night due to "creative differences." She also starred as Campbell in both the Broadway and National Tour productions of 'Bring It On - The Musical' and appeared off-Broadway in 'Gigantic' in 2015. She is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Wendy Darling in NBC's "Peter Pan Live!"

Based on the 2005 British comedy movie of the same name by Geoff Deane and Tim Firth, the musical features a book by Tony winner Harvey Fierstein, with music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning artist Cyndi Lauper and is directed and choreographed by Tony winner Jerry Mitchell.
Synopsis: "In Kinky Boots, Charlie Price is forced to step in and save his family's shoe factory in Northern England following the sudden death of his father.
