Susan and God at the Mint Theater

The Mint Theater Company's revival of Rachel Crothers 1937 comedy, Susan and God, extends by two weeks to 30 Jul 2006 at the Mint Theatre.

The comedy opened at the Mint Theater on the 18 Jun 2006, following previews from the 6 Jun and was originally scheduled to run through the 16 Jul 2006.

Susan and God: Susan, is a socialite who embraces a new religious philosophy while abroad and returns home eager to change everyone around her, but how sincere is Susan about her new faith? When her husband takes her at her word and decides that may be he can change his drunken ways, Susan finds herself increasingly unsettled. Whilst her husband is ready to reform,she�s ready to divorce. Confronted with her husband�s sincere efforts, Susan must learn the difference between public facade and personal faith.

The cast for Susan and God, directed by Jonathan Bank, features Opal Alladin, Heidi Armbruster, Jennifer Blood, Mathieu Cornillon, Alex Cramner, Timothy Deenihan, Katie Firth, Rob Gomes, Leslie Hendrix and Anthony Newfield.
