Stretch (a fantasia) extends its run at the Living Theatre by one performance

New Georges presentation of Stretch (a fantasia), by Susan Bernfield, extends its run at the Living Theatre by one performance, and will now play through to 28 May 2008.

The comic-drama opened at the Living Theatre on 5 May 2008, following previews from 2 May and was originally scheduled to close on 26 May 2008.

Stretch (a fantasia): Imagines the final days of Rose Mary Woods, Richard M. Nixon's longtime loyal secretary, as she observes the presidential election of 2004 from her Alliance, Ohio nursing home. She connects the past with the present while thinking about power, loyalty, and lying.

Directed by Emma Griffin, Stretch (a fantasia) will star Kristin Griffith as Rose Mary Woods.

Further information about this production to be released in the coming weeks.
