Small Engine Repair extends by one week

MCC Theater's New York Premiere of John Pollono'sdark comedy Small Engine Repair has extended its run by one week and will now play through to 15 Dec 2013.

The play, which began previews on 30 Oct 2013, opens at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on 20 Nov 2013. The show was originally scheduled to close on 08 Dec 2013.

In Small Engine Repair, former high school buddies Frank (Pollono), Swaino (Dale) and Packie (Ransone) meet off-hours in Frank's out-of-the-way repair shop under cloudy circumstances that only Frank has a handle on. Enter Chad (Allen), a plugged-in, privileged college jock, whose arrival sets off an explosion of long-simmering resentment in this taut, twisty, comic thriller.

Directed by Jo Bonney, Small Engine Repair stars Keegan Allen (Chad), James Badge Dale (Swaino), John Pollono (Frank) and James Ransone (Packie).

Small Engine Repair won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Award for Playwriting when it had its world premiere in 2011 at L.A.'s Rogue Machine Theatre.
