Six began as a small show created by then-college students Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss and has become an international sensation. Six officially opened on Broadway in 2021 to rave reviews, with New York Theatre Guide calling the show "pure musical theatre elation for a pop-packed 75 minutes."
Six centers on a pop girl group made up of Henry VIII's six wives. At first, they compete to see who had it the worst as queen, but finally get to tell their own stories and support each other. The score — with songs inspired by the styles of Beyonce, Adele, Nicki Minaj, and more — won Best Original Score at the 2022 Tonys, and Six also won Best Costume Design.
