Signature Theatre announces full cast of Wakey, Wakey

Signature Theatre has announced the cast for the world premiere of Wakey, Wakey, written and directed by Will Eno, which begins previews at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at off-Broadway's Pershing Square Signature Center on February 7, 2017, before an official opening on February 27 and a limited engagement through to March 19, 2017.

The cast of Wakey, Wakey includes Emmy winner Michael Emerson and January LaVoy.

Synopsis: "What are we here for? Is time a friend or an enemy? Do we all eventually end up in the same place, but take different routes to get there? The new play challenges the notion of what really matters and recognizes the importance of life's simple pleasures."

The creative team behind Wakey, Wakey has also been announced and features scenic design by Christine Jones, costume design by Michael Krass, lighting design by David Lander, sound design by Nevin Steinberg and projection design by Peter Nigrini.

Martin Emerson is best known for his screen career which includes Emmy Award wins for his TV roles as Ben Linus on "Lost" (2009) and William Hinks on "The Practice" (2001). He also received a further three Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nomination for "Lost." Other notable screen credits include Harold Finch in "Person of Interest," "The Legend of Zorro," "Saw," "Playing by Heart," and "The Impostors."

January LaVoy last appeared for Signature Theatre in 'Signature Plays' last year. She also appeared on Broadway in 'Enron' in 2010. Other off-Broadway credits include "Wings" (Second Stage Theatre), "Coraline" (MCC Theater), "Joy" (Actors' Playhouse) and "Home" and "Two Trains Running" (Peter Norton Space). Screen credits include "One Life to Live," "War of the Worlds" and "All My Children."
