Sidd, a new musical, at Dodger Stages/ Stage 5


Sidd, a new musical based on Herman Hesse's novel Siddhartha, opens at Dodger Stages' Stage 5 on the 22 Mar 2006, following previews from the 23 Feb for an open ended run. The show is booking to the 2 Jul 2006.

Sidd chronicles the spiritual journey of one man�s life from his youthful wanderings in his home village through his encounter with the Holy Buddah, his many years living amidst the glamour, jazz, and corruption of the City and finally his enlightenment as a ferryman on a river.

Sidd is dapted from Herman Hesse's novel by Andrew Frank, and has music and lyrics by Doug Silver, with additional lyrics by Andrew Frank.

Sidd's cast, directed by Andrew Frank and choreographed by , features: Neil Maffin, Marie-France Arcilla, Dann Fink, Pamela Jordan, Nicole Lewis, Arthur Marks, and Gerry McIntyre.

The production has set design by Maruti Evans, costumes by Michael Bevins, lighting by Chris Dallos and costumes by Deborah Olson.
