Shakespeare in the Park: cast announced
The Public Theater have announced the complete cast for the 2013 season of free Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacorte, which will present The Comedy of Errors and a new musical adaptation of Shakespeare's Love's Labour Lost.
In addition to the previously announced Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Dromio) and Hamish Linklater (Antipholus), The Comedy of Errors will feature De'Adre Aziza (Courtesan), Becky Ann Baker (Emilia), Emily Bergl (Adriana), Keith Eric Chapelle (Balthasar), Robert Creighton (Angelo), Jonathan Hadary (Egeon/Pinch), Heidi Schreck (Luciana), Skipp Sudduth (Duke/Luce), J. Clint Allen, Tyler Caffall, Reed Campbell, Reggie Gowland, Bryan Langlitz, Brian T. Lawton, Michael McArthur, Rachel McMullin, Natalie Woolams-Torres, Adrienne Weidert and Jessica Wu.
The creative team features sets by John Lee Beatty, costumes by Toni-Leslie James, lighting by Jeff Croiter and sound design by ACME Sound Partners.
The Comedy of Errors concerns two sets of identical twins who were separated as children and now live as master-servant pairs in rival neighboring cities. When one pair crosses the border to find the other, so begins an exquisitely enjoyable mess of mistaken identity, wrongful imprisonment, questionable flirting and general mayhem.
Directed by Daniel Sullivan, with choreography by Mimi Leiber, The Comedy of Errors opens at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park on 18 Jun 2013, following previews from 28 May 2013, and closes on 30 Jun 2013.

The cast of the musical Love's Labour Lost features Daniel Breaker (King of Navarre), Kevin Del Aguila (Dull), Colin Donnell (Berowne), Andrew Durand (Boyet), Kimiko Glenn (Maria), Jeff Hiller (Nathaniel), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Jaquenetta), Justin Levine (Moth), Patti Murin (Princess), Lucas Near-Verbrugghe (Dumaine), Bryce Pinkham (Longaville), Charlie Pollock (Costard), Caesar Samayoa (Don Armado), Maria Thayer (Rosaline) and Audrey Lynn Weston (Katherine).

Directed by Alex Timbers, Love's Labour Lost opens at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park on 12 Aug 2013, following previews from 23 Jul 2013, and closes on 18 Aug 2013.
Free Tickets to The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park are distributed, two per person, at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park on the day of the show.
