Life is a cabaret for Adam Lambert and Auli'i Cravalho! Lambert (American Idol) and Auli'i Cravalho (Moana, Mean Girls) are the latest stars of Cabaret on Broadway, a daring new revival of the classic musical by Joe Masteroff, John Kander, and Fred Ebb.
Set in the Kit Kat Club in 1929-30 Berlin, Germany, Cabaret follows the performers and patrons of that nightclub as Nazism slowly seeps into that once-escapist haven. Lambert stars as the mysterious Emcee, while Cravalho stars as singer Sally Bowles. Also in the cast are Calvin Leon Smith as Cliff Bradshaw, Bebe Neuwirth as Fraulein Schneider, Steven Skybell as Herr Schultz, Michelle Aravena as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie, and Henry Gottfried as Ernst Ludwig.
