Natascia Diaz, Henry Gottfried join 'Cabaret' Broadway cast

The upcoming semi-immersive revival of the classic Kander and Ebb musical also stars Eddie Redmayne, Gayle Rankin, Bebe Neuwirth, Ato Blankson-Wood, and more.

Willkommen! Natascia Diaz and Henry Gottfried are the latest additions to the cast of Cabaret on Broadway, beginning performances at the August Wilson Theatre on April 1.

Diaz and Gottfried will play Fraulein Kost/Fritzie and Ernst Ludwig, respectively. They join previously announced Cabaret cast members Eddie Redmayne as the Emcee, Gayle Rankin as Sally Bowles, Bebe Neuwirth as Fraulein Schneider, Ato Blankson-Wood as Clifford Bradshaw, and Steven Skybell as Herr Schultz.

Additional casting has yet to be announced.

Director Rebecca Frecknall's revival of Cabaret premiered in London in 2021, winning seven Olivier Awards including Best Musical Revival. Her production completely transforms the August Wilson Theatre into the Kit Kat Club, immersing audiences in the Berlin nightclub.

In John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff's classic musical, the performers and patrons find an escape in the Kit Kat Club — until the rise of fascism begins to creep into every inch of their lives.
