Life is their cabaret! Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth and Drama Desk Award nominee Steven Skybell join the cast of Cabaret on Broadway, returning for its fourth revival this spring. Performances begin on April 1 ahead of an April 21 opening.

Neuwirth, a Tony winner for Chicago and Sweet Charity, returns to Broadway for the first time since starring as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family in 2010. Skybell last performed on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof in 2015, and in 2022, starred in an acclaimed Off-Broadway production of the show directed by Joel Grey. He has appeared in six other Broadway shows, including Wicked.

In Cabaret, Neuwirth and Skybell play Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz, respectively. They join previously announced cast members Eddie Redmayne as the Emcee, Gayle Rankin as Sally Bowles, and Ato Blankson-Wood as Cliff.

Additional Cabaret Broadway casting has yet to be announced.

The 2024 revival is directed by Rebecca Frecknall. She premiered the production in London in 2021, where it won seven Olivier Awards the following year. Her semi-immersive show now transforms the August Wilson Theatre into the Kit Kat Club, where audiences will be surrounded by performances from the moment they enter.

The musical, by Joe Masteroff, John Kander, and Fred Ebb, follows the patrons and performers of the Kit Kat Club in Weimar era-Berlin, whose escapist lifestyle crumbles as Nazism infiltrates every facet of life, including the club.
