Ana Gasteyer and more join 'Schmigadoon!' Broadway cast

Welcome to Schmigadoon! Additional casting has been set for Schmigadoon! on Broadway, the stage musical adaptation of the same-named Apple TV+ series. Performances start at the Nederlander Theatre on April 4 ahead of an April 20 opening night.

Joining the previously announced Tony Award nominee Alex Brightman as Josh Skinner and Sara Chase as Melissa Gimble are Ann Harada reprising her role from the TV series as Florence Menlove, McKenzie Kurtz as Betsy, Isabelle McCalla as Emma Tate, Ivan Hernandez as Doc, Tony nominee Brad Oscar as Mayor Menlove, Ana Gasteyer as Mildred Layton, Max Clayton as Danny Bailey, Maulik Pancholy as the Reverend, and Ayaan Diop as Carson.

Also joining the company are Afra Hines, Becca Petersen, Brandon Block, Clyde Alves, Jess LeProtto, Joshua Burrage, Kaleigh Cronin, Keven Quillon, Kimberly Immanuel, Lauralyn McClelland, Lyrica Woodruff, Maria Briggs, Miles McNicoll, Nathan Lucrezio, Richard Riaz Yoder, Shina Ann Morris, and Zachary Downer as additional Schmigadoon townspeople.

Schmigadoon! follows a troubled couple who get mysteriously stuck in a town that's a Golden Age musical come to life, and the only way out is to sing and dance their way through. The Broadway musical is written by Emmy winner and Grammy nominee Cinco Paul, who co-created and wrote the songs for the TV series, and directed and choreographed by Tony winner Christopher Gattelli (Death Becomes Her, Newsies).

The Schmigadoon! creative team also includes set designer Scott Pask, costume designer Linda Cho, lighting designer Donald Holder, sound designer Walter Trarbach, hair and wig designer Tom Watson, and makeup designer Ashley Ryan.
