Roundabout Theatre Company has added three new productions to its 2022-23 season. You Will Get Sick by Noah Diaz, Primary Trust by Eboni Booth, and Covenant by York Walker will all make their world premieres off Broadway with Roundabout.

At the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre is You Will Get Sick, beginning performances in fall 2022. When a young man receives a life-changing medical diagnosis, he hires an older woman to tell his loved ones the news, an experience that changes both their lives. Also at the Pels in spring 2023 is Primary Trust, about a 36-year-old bookstore worker who gets a transformative new lease on life when he's suddenly laid off. Knud Adams directs.

At Roundabout's Black Box Theatre in winter 2023 is Covenant, centered on a blues star who returns to his Georgia hometown for the first time since achieving fame. Rumors swirl that he made a secret deal with the devil for it to happen, but it soon becomes clear, as the line between rumor and truth blurs, that the townspeople have secrets of their own.

These productions join the previously announced the bandaged place by Harrison David Rivers and The Wanderers by Anna Ziegler. Those shows will go up off Broadway in fall 2022 at the Black Box and winter 2023 at the Pels, respectively.

Roundabout will also present a Broadway revival of 1776 at the American Airlines Theatre in fall 2022. Additional Broadway shows in Roundabout's season have yet to be announced.
