Roundabout announces complete cast for Thérèse Raquin

The Roundabout Theatre Company has now announced complete casting casting for the upcoming production of Thérèse Raquin , which begins previews on 1 October 2015, before an official opening on 29 October 2015 and a limited engagement through to 3 January 2016, at Broadway's Studio 54.

Joining the previously announced Keira Knightley (Thérèse), Gabriel Ebert (Camille), Matt Ryan (Laurent) and Judith Light (Madame Raquin) will be David Patrick Kelly (Michaud), Jeff Still (Grivet), Mary Wiseman (Suzanne), and ensemble members Glynis Bell, Alex Mickiewicz, Sara Topham and Ray Virta.

This new adaptation of Thérèse Raquin by Helen Edmundson, based upon the novel by Émile Zola, is directed by Evan Cabnet.

Synopsis: "In this tale of love, lust, betrayal, and guilt, Thérèse has made peace with her loveless marriage to a weak man when her world is turned upside down by Laurent walking through the door. Unable to ignore their passion, the pair sets off on a violent path that may have far worse consequences for the perpetrators than for the victims."

The creative team features scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Jane Greenwood, lighting design by Keith Parham and sound design by Josh Schmidt.
