Regrets, by Matt Charman, to star Adriane Lenox
Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox is to star in Manhattan Theatre Club's (MTC) world premiere production of Matt Charman's Regrets, directed by Carolyn Cantor, opening at NY City Center Stage I on 27 Mar 2012, following previews from 8 Mar 2012, and running through to 29 Apr 2012.
Adriane Lenox returns to MTC after her critically acclaimed performance in 'Doubt' which premiered at MTC's Off-Broadway home at City Center, transferred to Broadway, and subsequently won the Tony and Pulitzer Prize for Drama. For her performance as 'Mrs. Muller,' Lenox received both Tony and Lucille Lortel awards.
Carolyn Cantor previously directed MTC's production of 'Pumpgirl.' Her other Off-Broadway directing credits include Amy Herzog's 'After the Revolution,' Anna Kerrigan's 'The Talls,' Adam Rapp's 'Essential Self Defense,' and Craig Wright's 'Orange Flower Water.'
Regrets will be announced in the coming weeks.
Matt Charman, a British young playwright, makes his New York debut at MTC with this world-premiere play.
