Sat 21 Aug 2004 'Reckless' announces full cast.   The Manhattan Theater Club have announced the full cast for their production of Reckless which will open at the Biltmore Theatre on 14 Oct 2004, following previews from 23 Sep 2004. Cast: Mary-Louise Parker (Rachel), Olga Merediz (Trish/Woman Patient), Debra Monk (Doctors One Through Six), Michael O'Keefe (Lloyd), Rosie Perez (Pooty/Sue), Jeremy Shamos (Tim/Roy), Thomas Sadoski (Tom/Tom Jr./Man in Ski Mask) Mary-Louise Parker has a celebrated history with both the playwright and director of this production, having earned her first Tony nomination for her performance in Craig Lucas' play, 'Prelude To A Kiss'. She also appeared in the film version of 'Reckless' as the paraplegic Pooty, and in the film, 'Longtime Companion', which was written by Mr. Lucas. For Reckless, Ms. Parker is being reunited with Mark Brokaw, her director for the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, 'How I Learned To Drive'. Directed by Mark Brokaw, the design team includes set by Allen Moyer, and lighting by Chris Akerlind. Its Christmas Eve, her son has fired her, her husbands put out a contract on her life, and so shes out the window - literally. This bittersweet comedy follows Rachel through a bizarre, fantastic and sometimes nightmarish journey as she travels across the country, finding home with a succession of intimate strangers.
