Reasons to be Pretty: world premiere of Neil LaBute's play, at the Lucille Lortel
The final play of MCC Theater's 22nd off-Broadway season is the world premiere of Neil LaBute's comic drama Reasons to be Pretty. The show marks the fifth collaboration between MCC Theater and LaBute, who is MCC�s Resident Playwright.
Reasons to be Pretty is the final work in LaBute's trilogy of plays that began with 'The Shape of Things' and 'Fat Pig' (which MCC also premiered).
Performances of the four-character play begin at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on 14 May 2008 and will continue through to 5 Jul 2008. The director, cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.
Neil LaBute's is a prolific playwright, whose work has been staged on Broadway and London's West End. His many plays include: 'The Shape of Things', 'The Distance From Here', and 'The Mercy Seat'.
