Prospect Theatre Company's 2007 - 2008 Season


Prospect Theatre Company will present 3 Musicals and a comedy for their 7th season.

The three musical are The Rockae by Peter Mills & Cara Reichel, The Blue Flower by Jim & Ruth Bauer, and Honor by Peter Mills & Cara Reichel.



The Rockae

, with music and lyrics by Peter Mills, adapted from Euripides� The Bacchae by Peter Mills and Cara Reichel, playing at the Hudson Guild Theatre from 15 Sep - 14 Oct 2007.

Rock musical adaptation of Euripides' classic, The Bacchae: Pent-up King Pentheus takes on Dionysus and his frenzied female fans when the god of wine and theater returns to Thebes.

The musical will be directed by Cara Reichel, cast to be announced.



The Blue Flower

, music and lyrics, by Jim Bauer, book by Jim Bauer and Ruth Bauer, playing at the West End Theatre from 2 Feb - 2 Mar 2008.

The restless memories of artist Max Baumann on this Dada-inspired romp through pre-WWI Paris, the Great War, and Weimar Germany.

The musical will be directed by Ruth Bauer, cast to be announced.



Honor

, music and lyrics by Peter Mills, based on Shakespeare�s As You Like It, by Peter Mills and Cara Reichel, playing at the Hudson Guild Theatre from 19 Apr - 18 May 2008.

Young Lord Arthur is deliriously happy - just down from Oxford and engaged to be married - until a fateful evening at Lady Windemere's when a mysterious palm-reader predicts a shocking turn of eventsAs You Like It is transplanted to feudal Japan in this tale of romance and the redemption of family honor, told through martial arts choreography.

The musial will be directed by Cara Reichel, cast to be announced.
