Prospect Theatre Company's 2006 - 2007 Season
Prospect Theatre Company will present 2 Musicals and a comedy for their 6th season.
The three shows are The Flood by Peter Mills & Cara Reichel, Tock Tick by Tim Nevits & Gihieh Lee and West Moon Street by Rob Urbinati.
The Flood
is a musical with book, music and lyrics by Peter Mills & Cara Reichel, playing at the American Theatre of Actors's Chernuchin Theatre from 21 Oct - 19 Nov 2006.
About one community's struggle against the rising tide of the Mississippi River that would wipe it off the map. The story looks for meaning in cycles of devastation and rebirth, and finds that even in the wake of tragedy there are things that float.
The musical will be directed by Cara Reichel, cast to be announced.
Tock Tick
is a musical with story by Tim Nevits & Gihieh Lee and book & lyrics Tim Nevits, music by Gihieh Lee, playing at the West End Theatre from 3 Feb - 4 Mar 2007.
12-year-old Chelsea Tickerman�s mother has cancer. As the clock in the front hall steadily marks each passing moment, she can see the dragon of her mother�s death, hovering. In a bold move, Chelsea embarks on a fantastical quest to slay this dragon and save her mother. Along the way, encounters with scientists, seagulls, interstellar gondoliers, and finally the locksmith at the center of the universe bring her to a new understanding of life, death, and the nature of time.
The musical will be directed by Jackson Gay, cast to be announced.
West Moon Street
is a comedy by Rob Urbinati, playing at the Hudson Guild Theatre from 21 Apr - 20 May 2007.
Young Lord Arthur is deliriously happy - just down from Oxford and engaged to be married - until a fateful evening at Lady Windemere's when a mysterious palm-reader predicts a shocking turn of events.
The comedy will be directed by Davis McCallum, cast to be announced.
