Pig Farm

The Roundabout Theatre Company presents Greg Kotiss new comedy Pig Farm, opening at the Laura Pels on the 27 Jun 2006, following previews from the 9 Jun and running through to the 3 Sep 2006.

Pig Farm: Under a pot-bellied sky on a struggling pig farm somewhere in America, Tom, Tina and their hired hand Tim fight to hold onto everything they have namely, a herd of fifteen thousand restless pigs. Dumping sludge into the river has driven Tom to drink, and Tim seems to have caught Tina's eye, but when Teddy, an officer of the Environmental Protection Agency arrives to inspect the operation, life on the farm explodes, implodes, then explodes again.

The cast for Pig Farm, directed by John Rando, features Katie Finneran (Tina), Logan Marshall-Green (Tim), and Denis OHare (Teddy). Additional casting and design team to be announced shortly.

The Roundabout Theatre Company production of Pig Farm is a co-World premiere in collaboration with The Old Globe, San Diego, CA.

John Rando and Greg Kotis will collaborate once again following their Tony Award winning musical Urinetown. John Rando received a 2002 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for Urinetown. Greg Kotis won 2002 Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score.
