"Suits" star Patrick J. Adams will officially make his Broadway debut next spring, starring alongside Jesse Williams (also making his Broadway debut) and five-time Emmy Award nominee Jesse Tyler Ferguson in Second Stage Theater's upcoming revival of Take Me Out.

Adams will take on the role of Kippy Sunderstrom, with Williams and Ferguson starring as Darren Lemming and Mason Marzac, respectively.

Patrick J. Adams starred for seven seasons as Mike Ross on "Suits" on the USA Network, primarily opposite Meghan Markle. His other most notable television credits include "Sneaky Pete," "Rosemary's Baby," "Luck," "Orphan Black," "Lost," "Friday Night Lights," "Pretty Little Liars," "N.C.I.S.," "Lie To Me," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," and "Flash Forward." And his film credits include "Clara," "Old School," and "Rage."

As previously reportedTake Me Out is scheduled to begin previews at The Hayes Theater on Broadway on April 2, 2020, ahead of an official opening on April 23.

Synopsis: "Take Me Out celebrates the personal and professional intricacies of America's favorite pastime. When Darren Lemming, the star center fielder for the Empires, comes out of the closet, the reception off the field reveals a barrage of long-held unspoken prejudices. Facing some hostile teammates and fraught friendships, Darren is forced to contend with the challenges of being a gay person of color within the confines of a classic American institution. As the Empires struggle to rally toward a championship season, the players and their fans begin to question tradition, their loyalties, and the price of victory."

Written by two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award winner Richard Greenberg, the Broadway premiere of Take Me Out took home three Tony Awards in 2003, including "Best Play". This first-ever Broadway revival will be directed by 9-time Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis.

Additional casting and creative team information will be announced at a later date.
