Outer Critics Circle 2005-2006 nominations announced

The Pajama Game leads the nominations With 8 nominations, Grey Gardens follows With 7 nominations and The Drowsy Chaperone with 6 nominations. The Color Purple and the Jersey Boys each gained 5 nominations.

The winners of the Outer Critics Circle Awards will be announced on the 14 May, with the awards presented at a ceremony on the 25 May 2006 at Sardi's Restaurant.

The awards have announced a new category this year for Outstanding New Score, which both Broadway and Off-Broadway producitions are eligable.
