Our Town: Cromer returns for the holidays



Director David Cromer returns to his acclaimed production of Our Town as 'The Stage Manager' from 22 Dec 2009 - 3 Jan 2010. Stephen Kunken (Frost/Nixon, Rock and Roll, Proof) will assume the role from 5 Jan, replacing the current 'Stage Manager,' Jason Butler Harner.

On 16 Dec 2010, this current staging of Our Town will become the longest-running production of the play in its 71-year history.

Our Town opened at the Barrow Street Theatre on 26 Feb 2009, following previews from 17 Feb, where it is now booking through to 31 Jan 2010.

The show opened to mostly positive reviews: "modest but highly rewarding" (NY Times); 'riveting new production' (NY Daily News); 'wonderful' (NY Post); "Astonishingly reinvented" (AP).

The cast of Our Town now features Jason Butler Harner as the Stage Manager, Jeremy Beiler as 'Sam Craig,' Rob Beitzel as 'Howie Newsome,' Kati Brazda as 'Mrs. Webb,' George Demas as 'Constable Warren,' Donna Jay Fulks as 'Mrs. Soames,' Jennifer Grace as 'Emily,' Wilbur Edwin Henry as 'Professor Willard,' Adam Hinkle as 'Joe Crowell,' Ronete Levenson as 'Rebecca Gibbs,' James McMenamin as 'George,' Ken Marks as 'Editor Webb,' Jonathan Mastro as 'Simon Stimson,' Seamus Mulcahy as 'Wally Webb,' Lori Myers as 'Mrs. Gibbs,' Jay Russell as 'Joe Stoddard,' Jeff Still as 'Doc Gibbs' and Jason Yachanin as 'Si Crowell.'.

The creative team for Our Town features Michele Spadaro (set design and props), Alison Siple (costume design) and Heather Gilbert (lighting design).
