Our New Girl by Nancy Harris, starring Mary McCann

Atlantic Theater Company have announced the final production of its 2013-2014 season - the US premiere of Irish writer Nancy Harris' play Our New Girl, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch and starring Mary McCann.

Additional casting and creative team will be announced.

Our New Girl will open at Atlantic Stage 2 on 10 Jun 2014, following previews from 28 May 2014, and play a limited engagement through to 22 Jun 2014.

Our New Girl: Behind the shiny door of Hazel Robinson's (McCann) perfect London home, nothing is as it seems. Hazel's plastic surgeon husband Richard has embarked on his latest charitable quest in Haiti, leaving the heavily-pregnant Hazel with a failing business and a problem son. When a professional nanny arrives unannounced on the Robinsons' doorstep, Hazel finds her home under the shadow of a perfect stranger with an agenda of her own.

Our New Girl arrives Off-Broadway following a production at London's Bush Theatre.

Mary McCann is a founding Atlantic Theater Company member and most recently appeared in the production of Conor McPherson's 'The Weir' Off Broadway and starred in the title role in last season's production of Simon Stephens plays 'Harper Regan,' directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch and in the US premiere of Stephens' play 'Bluebird' opposite Simon Russell Beale also staged by Upchurch.
