'Oedipus' at the Mint Space


Theatre By The Blind presents Oedipus by Seneca, adapted by Ted Hughes from a translation by David Anthony Turner, playing at the Mint Space from the 3 - 26 Jun 2005

Synopsis: The savage story of Oedipus - the Greek legend of the tormented King of Thebes who unknowingly murders his father and marries his mother - explores the themes of destiny, fate and family.

The cast features George Ashiotis, Melanie Boland, Nicholas Viselli, J.M. McDonough, and Pamela Sabaugh

Oedipus is directed by Ike Schambelan, with design by Merope Vachlioti, costumes by Christine Field and lighting by Bert Scott.
