The Manhattan Theatre Club, under the artistic leadership of Lynne Meadow, has announced complete casting for its forthcoming New York premiere of Martyna Majok's drama Cost of Living, directed by Jo Bonney, which begins previews off-Broadway at the New York City Center (Stage I) on May 16, 2017, before an official opening on June 6 and a limited engagement through to July 16, 2017.

The cast of Cost of Living includes Jolly Abraham (as Jess), Gregg Mozgala (as John), Katy Sullivan (as Ani) and Victor Williams (as Eddie).

Synopsis: "Cost of Living is the story of four very different people, in four very different circumstances, each trying to get by. Eddie, an unemployed truck driver, reunites with his ex-wife Ani after she suffers a devastating accident. John, a brilliant and witty doctoral student, hires over-worked Jess, a caregiver. As their lives intersect, Majok's play delves into the chasm between abundance and need and explores the space where bodies — abled and disabled — meet each other."

The creative team behind Cost of Living features scenic design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Jessica Pabst, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, sound design by Robert Kaplowitz, and movement consultation by Thomas Schall.

Cost of Living is produced off-Broadway by Manhattan Theatre Club in association Williamstown Theatre Festival.

The world premiere of Cost of Living was staged at Williamstown Theatre Festival on the Nikos Stage from June 29 through to July 10, 2016.
