Morning Star at the Bank Street Theatre

Peccadillo Theater Company presents Morning Star, by Sylvia Regan, opening at the Bank Street Theatre on 2 Jul 2007, following previews from 28 Jun and running through to 28 Jul 2007.

Beginning in 1910, Morning Star tells the story of the hopes and struggles of an immigrant Jewish family on the Lower East Side of New York. Their fortunes are shaped by the momentous events happening around them: the Triangle Shirtwaist fire, World War I and the Great Depression.

Directed by Dan Wackerman, Morning Star features Peter J. Coriaty, Matthew DeCapua, Susan Greenhill, Lena Kaminsky, David Lavine, Geany Masai, Allan Mirchin, Steve Sterner, Caroline Tamas, Darcy Yellin and Josh Philip Weinstein.

Set design by Joe Spirito, with costumes by Gail Cooper-Hecht and lighting by Jeffrey E. Salzberg.
