Animated Theaterworks, Inc., Theater Resources Unlimited, and Playground presents Missives, by Garret Jon Groenveld, opening at 59E59's Theater C on 23 Mar 2008, folowing previews from 20 Mar and running through to 6 Apr 2008.

Missives: A gay, white man is missing - possibly murdered. A straight, African-American woman, his neighbor, grieves while remembering their unlikely friendship, carried on only through letters slipped under each other's doors. Rarely speaking face to face, they shared their most intimate thoughts, a peculiar fascination with soap operas and more imaginary flowers than one can count.

Directed by Elysabeth Kleinhans, b>Missives features Shamika Cotton, Richard Gallagher, Peter Kleinhans, Jay Randall, Ryan Tresser and Ashley West.
