Marry Me a Little extends run by one week

The Keen Company have extended their production of the musical revue Marry Me a Little by one week. The show will now run through to 27 Oct 2012.

Starring Lauren Molina and Jason Tam, Marry Me a Little began previews on 11 Sep 2012, and will open at Theatre Row's Clurman Theater on 2 Oct 2012, where it was originally shceduled to close on 21 Oct 2012.

Marry Me a Little, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, based on an idea conceived by Craig Lucas and Norman Rene, is about two single strangers, left alone in their studio apartments on a Saturday night, pass their time with sweetly secret, shared fantasies, never knowing that they're just a floor away from each other and the end of their lonely dreams.

This production contains material from Sondheim's catalogue heard for the first time as part of this production: "Rainbows," written for the unproduced "Into the Woods" film (replacing "Two Fairy Tales") and "Yoo-Hoo!" cut from 'Sunday In the Park With George' (replacing "Pour La Sport"); also being added for this production is "Ah But Underneath" (written for the London premiere of 'Follies'), replacing "Uptown, Downtown".

The show is directed by the Keen Company's artistic director Jonathan Silverstein and choreographed by Tony Award-nominee Dan Knechtges ('Xanadu'). The creative team features set design by Steven Kemp, costumes by Jennifer Paar and lighting by Josh Bradford.

Lauren Molina has appeared on Broadway in 'Rock of Ages' and 'Sweeney Todd.' Film: "Wisdom Teeth" and "One Another." In 2010 she releaed her first album "Sea for Two."

Jason Tam has appaeared on Broadway in 'Lysistrata Jones,' 'A Chorus Line,' and 'Les Misérables.' Film: "Guilty." TV: "One Life to Live" and "Beyond the Break."
