'Marijuana-Logues', to close 27 Mar 2005 having played 384 performances




Marijuana-Logues, will close on the 27 Mar 2005 after having played 384 performances at The Actors� Playhouse. The show opened on the 30 Mar 2004, following previews from the 18 Mar 2004.

Marijuana Logues examines the rites and rituals of pot and regales the crowd with the highs and lows of marijuana. Told from all points of view from hazy to highbrow, demonstrating that the stories surrounding the bud are as varied as those who indulge. The comedy sets the herb centerstage, delving into fact and fiction, myths and misnomers alike.

The show received good notices, the Associated Press said, �The Marijuana-Logues lights up NYC! Emitting an air that is slightly subversive and laughter-inducing. . .this talented and complementary trio breathes new life into pot humor. Inventive writing . . . irresistibly funny . . .tongue firmly planted in cheek.�

The show's is diretced by Jim Millan and the cast, Doug Benson, Tony Camin and Seth Morris, are touring stand-up comics as well as actors.
