Marcy in the Galaxy at the Connelly Theater

The Transport Group presents Marcy in the Galaxy, book, music, and lyrics by Nancy Shayne, based on a story by Nancy Shayne and Michael Patrick King, opening at the Connelly Theater on 6 Apr 2008, following previews from 28 Mar and running through to 20 Apr 2008.

Marcy in the Galaxy: What happens when dreams of being a New York artist take longer to come true than planned. At mid-life, Marcy finds herself alone in the Galaxy Diner�out of money and almost out of hope.

Directed by Jack Cummings III, Marcy in the Galaxy features Donna Lynne Champlin, Teri Ralston, Janet Carroll, Mary-Pat Green, Jenny Fellner and Jonathan Hammond.

The creative team comprises Sandra Goldmark (sets), Kathryn Rohe (costumes), R. Lee Kennedy (lighting) and Michael Rasbury (sound).
