Lucille Lortel 2005 nominations announced


'Doubt', 'Hurlyburly' and 'Intimate Apparel' each receive five nominations in the 2005 Lucille Lortel Award, which celebrate excellence in Off-Broadway theatre.

The winners will be announced at the ceremony on the 2 May at Dodger Stages.

Two special awards will also be presented at the ceremony:

  • The Edith Oliver Award for Sustained Excellence with go to Frances Sternhagen,
  • he award for Outstanding Body of Work will go to The Irish Repertory Theatre.
